No big investors. No one to answer to. No rules to follow. Octopus is surfer-owned and run, built with one purpose: To make surf gear that lives up to the rigorous demands of their world-class team that includes the likes of Michael February, Harry Bryant, and Dylan Graves. And like their diverse roster of talent, Octopus lets their product do the talking.
In the first-ever Vans x Octopus collaboration, you will find an assortment of footwear and apparel that lives up to this promise, including the Sk8-Hi 138 Decon SF. Every item is restrained and minimal on the outside while being technical, performance-oriented, and uncompromising on the inside. If it’s not going to get you where you’re going and help you perform once you get there, you won’t see the Octopus name on it.
Featuring platinum suede and canvas uppers with the Octopus logo stamped on the heel, the Vans x Octopus Sk8-Hi 138 Decon SF offers a refined look and plenty of comfort. This deconstructed high top shoe comes equipped with rubber toe caps, UltraCush Lite drop-in sockliners, single-wrap foxing tape, and durable rubber outsoles with the Vans classic waffle pattern. It is made with water-based inks and glues.
